Boca Grande is a year-round destination for sport fishing, and The Innlet makes it a breeze to hook your favorite fish. Snook and redfish are plentiful in the backwaters of the bayou from August through November. That's also prime season for grouper, snapper, mackerel, and kingfish in the Gulf of Mexico. Some of the best sport fishing occurs in spring and summer when Boca Grande earns its reputation for being the "Tarpon Capital of the World." Regardless of the season, the fishing is always great in the surrounding waters of Gasparilla island.
